JOP Championships is the year end event for our Program.
Those who choose to attend will get the opportunity to shoot against other JOP youth from all over Saskatchewan. There has been up to 200 Archers that attend this event. But don’t worry, you won’t be shooting against kids that are scoring 300’s. You will compete against kids who are at the same badge level as yourself. So for instance, if you have achieved your Archer 140 Badge, you will compete at Championships for your next badge level - Master Yeoman 160.
Those attending can expect to shoot a round of 300 and if they qualify as the top 4 in each division/badge level - they will move on to Medal Rounds. This is such a fun event and we encourage everyone to attend.

Parent Information
- Flight times and butt assignments are given to the JOP Coordinator a few days before the tournament.
- Parents are not allowed on the field, unless they've had approval to help score. Volunteer Info Coming Soon. Respect In Sport will be mandatory to Volunteer.
- Parents are welcome to bring lawn chairs and binoculars. Seating is very limited on the mezzanine.
- Coaches will be available to help kids get set up and guide them in locating their shooting lane.
Equipment Requirements
- Bring your LAA Shooter Jersey. All others who are using club Jerseys will be able to pick theirs up when they arrive at Championships.
- Archers are not allowed to wear outdoor shoes in the arena, they must bring indoor shoes.
- Your child will have to bring their own hip quiver, we will not be able to bring the tube quivers that we have at the range.
- If your child is using a club bow, we will make arrangements for transporting.
- It is recommend to bring extra arrows in case yours are damaged during shooting.
Saskatchewan Target Provincial Championships
Held in conjuction with JOP Championships is SK Target Provincials

Registration for Provincials is the responsibilty of the parent/archer. We will post the link when it becomes available for registration into Provincials. Also it will be up to you to make sure that your Hotel is booked to accomodate both days if you plan to attend Provincials.
- Pee Wees will shoot at 10m with 60cm target
- All Pre-Cubs and Barebow Cubs will shoot 18m with 60cm target
- All others will shoot 18m with either 40cm or vertical target
